Incomplete NTP package Installation?

All-

I have a RB750G running V4.5. I wished to add the ntp server, so I downloaded the optional packages and loaded only the ntp server file. Before I loaded the file, my ntp client would list the information pertaining to last update, poll interval, and time correction.

But since adding the ntp server, the client no longer displays this info. It displays only the public IP address of the public time server.

Is this normal or do I have an incomplete/faulty installation?

Thank you! Would you mind telling me how you found that? I searched myself but was overwhelmed with info, not specific to my question. I would like to know so that I can be more effective at searching and not post unnecessary questions.

I remembered seeing that thread a while ago so I searched for “ntp sntp”.
