I use Miktorik as a DHCP server and it gives an incorrect option value to clients. Clients - Windows XP, option 46 (DhcpNodeType), value - 1 or 8, client received 31 or 38? How it is possible. Version 2.9.45, upgrade to 2.9.46 gives nothing. Need help!
Hi again. The problem is still did not resolved. I understand that my English is not very good so I’ll try to say simpler.
I have a Mikrotik router with dhcp server. I have a lot of such routers but all other works fine. This router should give DhcpNodeType (or netbios node type, option 46) to client. There is a value it can be is a 1, 2, 4 or 8. But it gives 31, 32 and so on instead. How it could be and where to look for a mistake???
