Increase range of RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN

Hello…

I thought with 1000mW on this unit - it would be sufficient to cover my house… It is not… I would also like to cover the backyard as well - since I need wireless network in some areas there as well…

Any thoughts of extending my range with this router…?

Replacement antennas…? secondary AP…?

Thanks for any help you can give me…

No matter how strong is your AP, your clients also need to be strong, otherwise, they can hear, but can’t talk back.

This does not seem to be an issue of “talking back” but one of receiving a strong signal…

Are there any replacement antennas recommended to work with this hardware…? Or, any access points or range extenders..,?

Thanks again for any help you can give…

Can you post the configuration of your router? Maybe some settings can be improved.
Paste output of this console command:
/interface wireless exportAs for the antennas, the device uses standard MMCX connectors. Any 2GHz wifi antenna with MMCX connectors will work, and the case is easy to open. There are no “warranty seals” inside.
