Hello. I write from Italy and I would like to have your opinion about CCR1036-12G-4S.
I wish to use it in the net of a paper mill. It will be the router for 4 switch.
On each switch there are about 10/11 PLC . Each one is an IP.
What about using it in industrial automation?

Well, the question is - do you NEED it?
You are the guy asking whether a car is good for you then going on rambling about how his girlfriend looks - totally unrelated.
Talk about packets per second, Talk about bandwidth. Chances are your paper mill is a low end internet connectivity - and that can likely be handled by a 750 or a 450, bandwidth wise. IP count etc. are quite irrelevant (within LARGE limits), the main factor is bandwidth and CPU requirement due to complex firewall rules. And I fail to see how your scenario should need more than a 750. Seriously.
