Info before HAP AC purchase

Hello!

I’d like to replace my ISP router with mikrotik equipment. I plan to replace the route part with a CHR instance, my core switch with a CSS326(or a CRS326 if i can get some decent offers while i wait to buy the HAP) and to deploy two HAP AC(non lite) at the edges of my apartment(100sqm) since i get lot of negative comments on the wireless antennas reach on the HAP AC. I plan to use a few gigabit ports on each HAP in bridge configuration, no vlans, while the wifi part is going to be capsman2(controller on the CHR). My ac client are mostly apple(two ipads and one Honor8) while the n client are mostly iot or old kit which i don’t care much if they go slow. My main question is about performance, my ISP router have 3x3 AC and it will deliver good throughput, i don’t want to replace it with a slower kit. Due to the two different AP i’d like to know if 802.11 k/r/v are supported to avoid having a client stuck on one when moving in the house.

As far as I know no k /r /v.
Capsman is interesting, but no real support for client roaming. As far as i know there is no advantage in terms of roaming compared to 2 standalone access points. Maybe same ARP if using capsman..

You can kick off clients depending on snr.
In my opinion if you want roaming go for professional wifi equipment eg cisco with their mobility express. Just my two cent.
