[info] G-Only mode AP and B-Only client

I have setted a RB433 as AP in G-only mode and two wireless client (Nanostation2) fixed in B-only mode.
The Clients associate the AP at 11 Mbps.

In G-only mode, why the AP accept the B devices or I m wrong?
tnx

The tool we use is not free for most uses, but it is was for what we used it for (its only free for two streams). It is called NetFlow Analyzer and I have not set it up for any of our Mikrotiks so not sure if it will even work.

A google search for “free netflow” returned this link, worth checking out:

I had two replys open and mixed the two… Sorry if I confused anyone.

I was going to say that I have seen this too and was curious.

Yes, like an AP in an b/G mixed environnemet!

Lol. Exactly.

UPDATE

I make tow test:

a)
AP G-Only (RouterOS 3.20)
Nanostatio2 in B-Only mode associate AP.

b)
AP G-Only (RouterOS 4.3)
Nanostation2 in B-Only mode NOT associate AP and not list AP in sitesurvey.

that is using radio plate with mikrotik?

Hi MIkrotik staff, no more info? :frowning:

What I can say based on my observations, is that between R52H and a plaque NanoStation2 there is no 100% compatibility.
This is because if you look at the NanoStation2 its transmission rate at 6 Mbit, we see that the board shows that Mikrotik is receiving 24 Mbps. This can not be. There is an error, but I can not determine which of the two products is produced. I still have to see what happens in a similar case but in the Mikrotik with a plaque which is Ubiquiti XR2.
I’ll tell you when you do this test.

Tnx for the info

Mikrotik staff, can add your comments?
