Information for mikrotik 1 GB

Hi, :waving_hand: do you give me a type of Mikrotik supported 1 Gb on up and on down .

If you are referring to an interface:

As far as I know, MikroTik no longer makes peripherals that only support 100Mbps...
So any (actual) MikroTik peripheral supports at least 1Gbps.

If you mean which Mikrotik support 1Gbps ISP speed then you have many great options such as ax2, ax3, RB5009.

Hi,

What are you asking for?

Any device with 1Gb or 2,5Gb, 10Gb or faster ports supports 1Gb up & down, whatever it means.

\What are your needs? What are the constraints? What are the external restrictions?

Have you checked official Mikrotik's results?

In that case, I'm sure the RB5009 can handle it...
However, given the various problems I've read about, I would strongly advise against the hEX refresh...

Yea, I removed hEX refresh, I remembered that there are some issues with it.

Yes I have hap ac2 with 1 GB in FAI but when i do the test of débit in up 400 mb and 300 mb in down

"FAI"?

Wi-Fi or cable?

As an ISP client?

Few details and even fewer explanations.

hAP ac2 should be, in theory, capable of routing at almost 1G speeds. Of course this depends on your configuration.

...and also how much is actually provided by the ISP or whether is tested via cable or wifi...

that s good do you have this config ? if you want send me this conf

There's nothing wrong with providing a configuration, but there's no "magic button."

Usually, you don't configure the device and then adjust the ISP (well, unless the ISP... but that's another story),
but you configure the device based on the ISP's instructions...

Actually provided by the ISP is 1 GB , I tested with the cable

We need to see your config… But with default configuration on hAP ac2 almost 1G speed are possible. But as @rextended stated, that depends on what your is your ISP actually delivers. It’s not the same thing if your ISP is using PPPoE for connection or if simple DHCP client on WAN interface is required.

So if the cable goes to 1Gbps, just configure the hAPac as a "dumb switch+AP".

Yes the conf based on the ISP instractions, also i tested in the ONT I find 990 mb in up and 970 in down

So a PC without any special configuration, simply connected to that cable, can reach up to 1 Gbps?

Is there anything else you'd like to leave out?

The ISP use the PPPoE for connection
