I am looking to setup a form of a panic alarm that activates several firewall rules with a script. The trick is that I would like to initiate that script by flipping a switch on the wall. I am trying to use some third party devices such as an access control panel or a small PLC, but I am not sure how to get the Tik to interpret either a connection on a certain port or other options. I would prefer not to do the interface up or down route as I would like to implement 8 different switches for different areas of our SCADA network. Any ideas?
You can indicate a external change with supplied voltage to the Mikrotik.
