Please advice how to install mikrotik netinstall on ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

you can use netinstall tool on linux hosts via wine. Note that netinstall will attempt to use port #69 (TFTP) to transfer files during network boot of installer on the router so you will have to run this via sudo.
on kubuntu i use this
$kdesudo wine netinstall.exe
When I try to run the command-kdesudo wine netinstall.exe on ubuntu 12.04 LTS, I get this reply
wine: cannot find L"C:\windows\system32\netinstall.exe"
Though I have downloaded netinstall 6.5 on desktop.
Wine requires X-Windows, which is not something that I want on my servers…
Any other way to netinstall a device which is now screwed up because of your failed software upgrades?
