Install PPP Package

Greetings. I am new here and with MikroTik routers so this might seem trivial but I am unable to get the PPP package installed on a new RB2011iL-IN router. This router has version 6.7 of the RouterOS.

I can’t find a version of PPP that is 6.7 so I tried the 6.19 that is available via web download. From what I could tell from other posts, the proper procedure is to ues WINBOX and drop the .npk file into the files section and reboot the router. Can’t seem to make that work.

Any help is appreciated.

Never mind. Got it working. When I looked at the version numbers of RouterOS, it initially looked like version 6.7 is newer than 6.19. I expected the version 6.7 to be 6.07 to indicate a lower release.

6.19 is the latest, 6.7 is old. Do not mix package versions. Update to latest or use appropriate ppp from the archive. If you don’t have archive, just ask, someone will provide the package for you.
