Installing RouterOs on a RouterBoard with Netinstall

Hi,

I have RouterBoard and on this RouterBoard i have lost access on it after try to upgrade and will like to reinstall this RouterBoard using netinstall. I follow the instruction from this link http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall. I did not succeed in installing the router.

When i connect the first port of the router on my PC, the router did not appear on the net install window en after putting the IP that was on that interface on the net booting window.

can any one help me to solve this issue?

Routerboard model?

Attach cable from ether1 to lan on pc with fixed address 192.168.2.3 / 255.255.255.0
the lan must be the only devices enabled: disable wifi and other lan if present.

launch netinstall, click netbooting and enable boot server on ip: 192.168.2.2
click ok, close and reoopen netinstall,

press reset BUTTON, leave it pressed, power now the rouuterboard and wait with reset pressed until the device appear on netinstall (20~30 sec.)
Install the routeros-xxxxxx-6.xx.npk,

done.
