Installing USB Lan card in Mikrotik?

I need to install 1 more interface on my Mikrotik RouterOS server.

But dont have an extra slot for new lan card.

thats y i purchased USB Lan card to fulfill my requirment. (USB 3.0 Full Speed Network Adapter)

now, the problem is, driver is not installing automatically and i dont have its driver for Mikrotik and dont know how to install its driver.

please guide with the procedure.

Hi, I saw video on tiktube about usb ethernet support. Is mikrotik supports only planet and linksys or it supports every ETH USB interface with same chipset as planet or linksys?

Is it possibile to implement USB wireless support ?

why not Mikrotik installs other USB lan cards drivers?

i have davicom usb network adapter.

please guide me how to install Davicom Usb lan card on Mikrotik?

Drivers CAN NOT be added to RouterOS by users..

The driver selection is a CLOSED system.

What is there is there. Only MikroTik can add or remove drivers.

Please List All The Names Of Supported USB LAN Adapter on Mikrotik.

So that i will able to go for alternate.

I looked at the list on the WIKI..

I dont know any others that use the same chipset..

You could have just figured out the chipset via google and then found lists like below that list devices that use them:

I don’t know. I don’t use USB Ethernet adapters. But that page reports some devices to use the same chipset as the D-Link reported to be working (AX8817X). Drivers tend to be chipset specific.

all dear i need some info about this lan card…
how too make lan card pc too convert usb pin any expert have method too hardware attechment info…

i have open A smart pc like cd room i need instal microtick hotspot application on it…
and use 1 other ethernet port…to LAN OR WAN…

I’ve tested these:

  • ASIX AX88172 (D-Link DUB-E100 USB)
  • ASIX AX88178 (Delock 61969)
  • ASIX MosChip MCS 783x (Delock 61147)
    These works fine :slight_smile:

I’m trying to connect to him D-link usb 2.0 Fast Ethernet Adapter DUB-E100 but it doesn’t work for me.
