Integrated Antenna Not working with RB433

Hi All,

I am using RB433 board with Compex Wireless card WLM 54AGP23 ,and connected an 23dBi 5GHz integrated antenna with it.
I have connected an antenna on Main port of Compex board.

Can you please suggest whether antenna needs to be connected on Aux port or main.
and what type of antenna needs to be set rxantenna a or rxantenna b.

I have setup a link between 2 mikrotik devices, still not able to get throughput of no more than 8 Mbps at a distance of 5 meters.

Pls, suggest, whether mikrotik device supports integrated antenna, if so what will be the settings.
Anything other useful information will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Prakhar

5m and 23dBi panel?

For that distance it is possible to get that slow bandwidth, use antenna of 1-2 dBi, also recommend to use r52,r5h or XR5. Don’t get complicated with other radios

What integrated antenna you use? Basically you can use any RB depend on RB dimension and integrated antenna space. Use Compex card main u.fl connector and antenna mode=antenna-a . Else check integrated antenna with other mPCi card, maybe this card have broken PA or diversity switch.

In answering your question:
On the compex cards I have found that the aux port corresponds to antenna A, while the main port corresponds to antenna B.

If you have this wrong you will see ~30db loss of signal.

As far as panel size and distance, take caution as previous posts have suggested.
