ROS 5.7, doesn’t work VLAN on Intel Pro/1000 PT Server Adapter EXPI9400PTBLK (82572EI)

Actually, I’m a little curious. What do you mean, VLANs don’t work? I don’t see how that could be true. If the physical adapter works VLANs are overlaid by the OS.
Doesn’t the OS use the VLAN functionality of the card, and the card (hardware/driver) does the actual “work” of sorting out the VLANs?
But even then the entire driver would stop working, and not just its 802.1q capabilities.
I may very well be wrong. In fact, I probably am. But I wouldn’t rule out a configuration mistake mislabeled as a bug.
