I want to replace the Realtek cards in my router with an Intel PRO/1000 VT Quad-port NIC (chipset: d96950-006, part number: DELL MY-0YT674), but when I start the system with this card, after 20 - 30 seconds the system stops responding to the keyboard and reboots (even when I do not touch anything). But when I log in, I see that all ports are showing up. Reinstalling the system does not help either. I tried to run this card on Debian Live 9.2 (on the same hardware) and it works well, the system doesn’t crash, all ports are showing up, and if I connect something to it, link gets established. I am using the latest version of RouterOS.
Hardware specifications:
Motherboard: GA-G31M-ES2L
CPU: Core 2 duo E8500
RAM: 2x 1GB DDR2 800MHz
Power Supplies: 1U Redundant 3Y YM-2451C
Disk is 2GB 133x CF Card in IDE-CF adapter.
What can cause the problem?
