What do you think, is it better to turn intel speedstep on or off. Before 2 days I had it off, and now it is on. Before the maximum of CPU usage was 15%, but with intel speedstep turned on it goes now up to 30%. Maybe becasue processor underclocks automatically? or what do you think?

Of course if CPU under-clocks you will see higher CPU usage while performing the same operations.
so speedsteps is working correctly? I care also for power consumption, and this is satisfied for me…till 60% maximum cpu usage…
If more power is needed, speedstep will switch the cpu to a higher frequency.
