I’ve heard about it, haven’t been able to find out any details yet.
What I have read is that Intel is pretty much using a phased aray (sp) that is controlled by software. Seems it would still require two radios and two antennas, but pics I’ve seen showed one grid.
The technology is simular to surround sound.
Signal Cancelation, and Signal Convergence produce a “focused signal” by using multiple signal sources (Antennas).

so in raw concept, very similar to MIMO, but using 802.11g not 802.11n…
Normis - any idea if something like this will ever be implemented in MT?
It would have to be a function of the wireless chipset, with OS support.
It would not be just an OS function.
