Hi,
Please find below detail of my setup:-
- CCR with 2 ISP working fine(My Single ASN).
- Now we got new ASN with new ip series which is advertise with both ISP’s and wanted to use as BGP routing But my ISP told me to configure new ASN as downstream customer.
- I configure new ASN and ip series on new RB450 and setup new BGP peer with my CCR and RB450. BGP established with redistribution static, filters as i do in CCR, but internet is now working.
please help me how can i manage to get it work.
Thanks,
HI directlogic, well you have an interesting scenario… first double check the filters and check if you’re receiving your new IPs from the 450G in the CCR, if everything is correct at that way, you will need to go to advertisements and check if this router is sending your new prefixes to your providers, and finally if everything is ok, then you will need to check with your providers if they are allowing your new AS/public range through them filters. (That’s for the upstream).
Now you will also need to check if the CCR is injecting the default route into the 450G, if not then double check that injection at the CCR, those may be some filters issues or maybe a lack of injecting the default-route.
