Over the past few weeks we have been having clients bitch about our international speeds( We are a South African based company). Now I know that the online speed tests are not always accurate, but our clients don’t know that, and don’t want to believe that.
So what I am proposing, if anyone is willing, that we provide a mikrotik bandwidth test to each others gateway router, I.E. those that have a mikrotik gateway firewall that is in a data center.
We are willing to provide a username and password for you to use, and in exchange you do the same for us. This will give us a good idication on upload and download( Our major problem is uploads)
We have a 100Mb line to the internet.
If you are interested, please let me know, will not abuse the service, if you give us times that we can run it thats fine, we basically just need to do one test.
