I should configure for a company a setup, that people only access the internet after login and the have 30min per days, a max bandwith of x kbps and a max download capacity of x MB. But they should access the LAN to copy files for example without restriction. And some PC’s on the network like Server’s or the CEO should also no restriction to the internet (MacAuth?). And we don’t want to use an DHCP Server. We use static IP Adresses.
The actual router (1200x2ah) configuration is that PORT1 is for WAN (Static IP) to a Satelite Modem. Port 6 -10 is working as switch with 6 a master port to 7-10 as slave. 4 of this ports are used. On this switch are connected different switches and Wireless Access Ponits, all without DHCP.
Is this manageable and when how?
