Good Day everyone.
I have a MikroTik RB450G.With this I am giving internet connection to my clients.Some of my clients are taking 1 internet connection (Let say 1 IP address with 512 kbps B/W) and put that IP in wireless broadband router and share it with several PC so I am losing money.So how can I stop this sharing.
I have tried with mangle rules and set TTL values to 1 but it is not working.
Can anyone help me please to stop sharing ??
show us what rules for TTL you made that didn’t work.
if your user is smart, and he has a good router (like from MikroTik), he will be able to do this anyway, and you will not be able to detect it. in this case, it’s better to decide what exactly are you selling.
if you are selling download amount, set certain limit. if there will be two users, they will reach it quicker. if you are selling connection with no limitations given to the customer, he is not breaking any rules.
if you did put “no internet sharing” in his contract, and you can prove he did it, issue warning or terminate contract.
