Dear All,
I am evaluating Mikrotik software for Internet sharing and bandwidth management for our local area network users. Currently I am using RouterOS version 3.23, but facing some issue in firewall NAT and routing.
It will be pleasure for me if some one solves my issue, all details are mention below.
§ I have two Networks:
1- Ether1 - WAN – 192.168.1.1 ( connected with ADSL modem)
2- Ether2 - LAN – 172.16.1.20 – 172.16.1.200 (User connected with switch)
§ Configured DNS server
§ Configured DHCP pool on Ether2 for dynamic IP assigning to users
§ Configured PPPoE server on Ether2
§ Configured PPPoE pool in Ether2, for PPPoE user IP assigning
§ Creating PPPoE profile
§ Creating PPPoE secret
§ Configure Nating for PPPoE network
Output of print command
Flags: X - disabled, I - invalid, D - dynamic

Adding Route for PPPoE users to access internet
DST-ADDRESS PREF-SRC GATEWAY-STATE GATEWAY DISTANCE INTERFACE
0 A S 0.0.0.0/0 reachable 192.168.1.1 1 ether1
User first connect with local LAN then dial PPPoE server for Internet access but problem is that PPPoE user did not able to reach any internet address.
