Internet speed slow in router os 7.19 and up Hex refresh E50UG

internet speed and simulated internet speed in Mikrotik E50UG is very slow in new router os
i have tested speeds in router os 7.15.3 where the speeds are really good but in router os 7.19.1 , 7.19.2 or 7.19beta4 all have slow internet speed

the config is of an static IP from ETHER1 port and all the LAN devices are connected to other ports
while on router os 7.15.5 i get more than 800mbps on LAN devices same cant be said for 7.19+ on which i get upto 157mbps.

Hex refresh download speed

HI I have a hex refresh that i have connected to a 1G internet connection. the problem is that the download is only about 100M, but the upload is 940M. the ISP is connected to port eth1. i have the default configuration in use. isn’t fasttrack on by default? when i look at the IP/setting menu, fasttrack doesn’t show up as active. any ideas why?

If it works in 7.15.3 as expected, do not update to newer versions of RouterOS until the isssue has been solved in a new release.

Otherwise a workaround is to not use ether1 as WAN, but configure another port (let’s say ether2) as WAN.

Hello. Need some help with router. Old HEX RB750GR3 - ETH 1 - WAN, ETH 5 - LAN , default config - speed from speed test ok - 1000Mbit/250Mbit New HEX E50UG - ETH 1 - WAN, ETH 5 - LAN , default config - speed 150-220Mbit What change or what is wrong with new HEX ? I dont use any PPPoe etc.

New firware chnage nothing in HEX refresh and HEX S.

so i did some experiments and this is what i have found
i have downgraded to 7.15.3 and reset the device and setup the device and then upgraded to the latest 7.19.2 and it gives me more than 800mbps using ether1 as wan but setting up the hex refresh as new from 7.19.2 the speed gets stuck at 150~mbps using ether1

but i have to experiment using any port other than ether1 as wan one of my friend said that not using ether1 and using some other port as wan is much faster but i have to try it out my self

If this is 100% reproducible, I think MT support would be very interested in your scenario.

If you have the time to spare, you could make lots of people’s lives a bit easier

also i swapped ether5 and ether1 for WAN
and speed now goes upto 950+ mbps using ether 5 as wan is amazing
