Invalid cross-device link on upgrading to 2.9.13 from 2.9.12

Using system upgrade from 2.9.12 to 2.9.13 the upgrade downloads
correctly, but the upgrade doesnt happen, and the downloaded upgrades
vanish.

Ftping the files directly to the boards gets Invalid cross-device link printed
out in the logs - once more than the number of packages, then the packages install correctly..

Boards are a mixture of Wrap/Acrosser/Gigabyte

Whats going on here - have I got a corrupted image in my ftp server
or is it the release?

Thanks

When I upgraded my RB532 I saw a lot of these messages as well. However, the upgrade was successful (at least, winbox reports 2.9.13 for all of the packages). I have not gotten the message since and the MT appears to be working correctly.

Had these errors upgrading .12 to .13 just now.

Heart stopping on a production router.

Same here - had a wireless card stopping for no apparent reason on 2.9.12, and when trying to disable & re-enable, got a strange message saying something like “function not supported (2)” as far as I remember.

rebooted, and upgraded at the same time as package was loaded (after some unsuccessful attempts a few days prior) and then got the

jan/01/2000 02:00:46 system,warning link failed: Invalid cross-device link
jan/01/2000 02:00:46 system,info installed routeros-rb500-2.9.13
jan/01/2000 02:00:46 system,info router rebooted

message in the logs…

All appears to be OK so far otherwise…

Anyone have any light to shed on ths?
