first time Mikrotik user here. Sorry if it's the wrong place to post. I’m struggling to do the initial login in the board. The user and password that came in the back of the board is returning invalid. Already tried to hold the reset button while powering it on, this indeed changed the ip address of the board, but still the same problem. Any tips?

Try empty password? recently got CRS310 and sticker password did not work.. empty password was working.

Yeah it is terrible. I had to commission 4 new devices earlier this week, and with my old eyes and the ridiculous font they use on the stickers, it took many attempts to get them right.
The sticker of my wap ax was also attached to the quick-guide booklet they ship it. Both the sticker and the manual have such a small font size - you hardly never see something printed that small.
Yes there are 3 stickers: on the device, on the outside of the box, and a sticker packed separately in the box. I stick that to a sheet that I file away (with the device name written alongside). Especially when the device will be mounted in a location difficult to access. And the sticker on the box does not have the password anyway.
But I required a phone or a magnifying glass to even read what is on there, and then the font is still of a very bad type. Why can’t they use a clear font like Courier for such things?
