Thank you for the report.
IP accounting does not work at x86 boxes, it should work at RB500/333/100.
As well you may consider more powerful tool for traffic monitoring/collection (as Traffic-flow or any other)
Dear sergejs,
I have been asking for the manual or any document about your new router OS product 3.rc but none of you replied my topic. haven’t you people made it up yet or you don’t wanna give it as early? plz answar my question.
Thanks
We use x86 router for counting our traffic usage and it can not replace by RB500/333/100.
Can we use ip accounting in next Mikrotik v3.0 for x86?
hulk-bd, Manual will be available at the future.
riza, I suggest you to try with more powerful tool to collect data that is going trough the router. E.g. traffic-flow, that is more/more powerful then accouting.
sergejs,
We have use this tools since 2.3.15, and already integrated with our billing system.
We have no problem at all in using this tool.
Please confirm, if MT will fix this missing on the next version, or it will be removed from RoS x86 version?
thank you.
Valens, it will be fixed. The feature will not be removed.
Is it working in 2.9.46. I’ve enabled it on a x86 box but get no
entries. On another x86 with 2.9.45 i get entries ???
Stefan
The article was about 3.0, it should work at 3.0rc5.
You may upgrade 2.9.45 router to 2.9.46, there should not be any problems.
Yes, you’re absolutely right.
It worked now in 3.0rc5
