IP address / device based volume stats

Hi Everyone,

I need to get a report of which IP addresses or devices on my network are consuming how much volume (both upload and download separately) in a day or in specific hours? Actually my ISP offers volume capped connection and I have been seeing huge uploads in last few weeks. So need to track down what is causing this issue.

Is it possible to do this with Microtik hEX device? and how?

Apologies in advance if this question has been asked before in the forums. I did try to search with lots of terms, but could not get results on the same.

Best Regards,
Akbar.

bumping the thread.

Can someone please help with this?

You can make graphing (via IPs) or see counter in simple queues (show columns—total download bytes).
For daily measuring you have to scripting it.

There is a utility in Mikrotik Download archive called traffic counter.

It will count traffic going through the router, played with it little bit and seems cool, also suggested it to a customer of mine
