I was looking through an old router 6.9 and noticed that under IP firewall and there is a “Dynamic” check box. I assume this is for putting in a dns name and then checking to see if it changes. For example facebook.com then it would update. However this has been removed in any other version I look at. It would be nice to be able to put websites in the address list and have it populate all address for that dns name.
I may be completely wrong as to the function of that box but it would be a nice feature.
Does anyone know how to go about blocking or allowing websites by dns name without using proxy?
Just curious, no pressing need.
