Hello to the Forum,
I created some Adress Lists and can´t find a way to rename or delete them. In Winbox there is no way to handle that. I searched the web and can´t figure out a solution.
For example: I created an Adress List called “FB” in order to block all traffic to Facebook. I now want to delete it (not only the content but the whole entry).
Does anybody know a solution?
Regards,
Gerd
Yes, in winbox you can select which address list is being displayed near the top right of the menu for that item.
Select the address list you want to delete
Then you can highlight and select all the entries control or shift etc… then up above use the “-” minus sign to delete them.
The name will still exist until you exit the address list window and then go back it should be gone EXCEPT.
If you have a firewall rule that defines the address list with that name, the name will continue to exist on the /ip firewall address list.
So to get rid of the list contents and list name
…delete all entries
…delete where you used the name in firewall rules.
