IP Hotspot Server HTTPS Redirect

Hello,

I commonly use HTTPS redirect on my hotspot server profiles, however this functionality was removed starting in RouterOS 7.5. The HTTPS redirect allows us to redirect any HTTPS request to our splashpage’s static DNS entry so that clients/customers can authenticate.

As we upgrade from legacy CCR1036 and CCR1016 to newer CCR2116s, we can not use RouterOS 6.49.10 which still has the HTTPS redirect support.

Are there any alternate solutions to the HTTPS redirect absence? Or will it be re-added to RouterOS?

It is not possible to redirect HTTPS, HTTP redirect is enough for captive portal detection.
