IP IPsec Package missing in router

I upgraded router to 6.44 and after some days IPSec packages missing and all existing configurations disappears.
I tried upgrading to the recently released stable version 6.44.1 stable, IPSec menu still missing. See attached.

I brought in another router, deployed IPsec config and after 3 days, IP Sec configs went missing again.
I can’t add new configs to any IPSec modules in the router.

/ip ipsec export — hangs the router console terminal session.

@Mikrotik support, what could be the issue.

Have you ever had 6.44beta versions installed on this device? If not, could you send us the supout.rif file from your device? After generating the supout.rif file, try downgrading the device to any pre-6.44 version and see whether IPsec works.

I had the same thing happening in a machine 100% CPU and unable IPsec. See 6.44 thread. Only solution I found was disable security, reset+restore from backup, re-enable security

No I didn’t try 6.44beta versions.
Downgrading to earlier version still won’t work if IP Sec module had already stopped working.

--------------For affected Users---------

Quick Fix
disable security, reset+restore from backup, re-enable security

If this doesn’t work, follow the steps below;

How I Fixed the issues
Generate .rsc backup one by one of specific configs that matters to you e.g ( IP>Address, IP>pool, IP>route, IP>DHCP, IP>DNS, IP>firewall filter, IP>firewall>nat)
e.g. from terminal, /ip address export, copy and paste config to external file
Download all
From System > Packages, disable security
Reboot the router
After reboot, reset router to factory settings. Don’t restore *.backup and don’t keep old config
After reboot and router is clean, enable security from System > Packages
from terminal, manually paste all the copied configs.
