We are using a couple Microtik routers to connect to locations together over an ELAN connection, it has been working flawlessly until the customer purchased a new product that required it’s own VPN type connection to the hosting site. We received a router from them with the LAN port having a LAN IP in the range of the internal network at buidling 1. We added the routes in the microtik at building 1 and everything works great but none of the devices at building 2 can get to the networks behind the new 3rd party router. We got on the phone with their tech support and they say that they are not seeing the IP’s of the devices in building 2, they are seeing the WAN IP of the microtik in building 2. Can’t figure out why this new router is seeing a masqueraded IP when all the other equipment in building 1 is seeing the private IP range of building 2? Thanks in advance for any help provided.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Not without seeing (full) configuration of router from building 2.
Sorry for the delay, I didn’t not get notified that there had been a response to my post. Here is an export of the config for the router at building 2.
