Hello I have a big trouble with the ip packing because on my network i have 2 mikrotik x86 at both ends joined by ubiquiti power beam ac equipment, due to the large number of pps that I have to manage in my network the cpu of those power beams collapses and it is essential to lower the amount of pps since I have enough bandwidth available on those links. The problem is: when I activate the ip packing system the users on both sides begin to lose packages in all the services.
You might be hitting the MTU limit with IP packing … depending on how it’s actually realized it may introduce some overhead. To overcome this problem (if this is the problem), you either have to increase MTU on ubiquitis or reduce MTU on x86 mikrotiks.
