It is possible to configure a 411U to pass the IP from a 3G modem given by an ISP to the LAN interface so I can plug it directly into the WAN interface of another router.
This would effectilvly make the other router a 3G router.
Has anyone done this, how would I go about it?
Thanks for any help.
why don’t you just route the connection across an RFC1918 /30 ?
eg use 10.10.10.1/30 and 10.10.10.2/30 for the router WAN and 411U LAN and then route the traffic across
Nick.
Thanks Nick.
Don’t suppose you could explain in a little more detail for me

Haven’t played with 3G but I assume you can bridge them.
Tom
And if they were bridges, could it plug into the WAN of another router?
