IP Protocol number changed from 800 to 2048

I posted this in the Beginner section by mistake and have had no action. Positing again in General to see if there is different activity.

I have an RB750 with version 6.27 code with only a very simple bridge containing two ports. The bridge has two IP address filters that have been working for a week flawlessly then filters stopped showing a match. When I looked at the host connection table I noticed the IP protocol now shows an IP type 2048 instead of 800. When I did a packet capture on the router, the offset in the packets showed it as a type 800 as it should.

I removed the bridge configuration and re-created it with no change. It took a factory reset and re-configuration to get it to work again. Is this a bug or what?

0x800 hex is 2048 decimal. That’s probably why it’s confusing.
