Yes, it works well. Also with or without Nstreme.
What might be a factor is distance or if you have interference on a part of the link ie. TX only or RX only as the traffic needs to be completely symetric.
Also, make sure you always have spare capacity on the AP or else you shall get quite a bit of jitter.

It’s not an IP telephony endpoint or gatekeeper, it’s just a router (or AP) that IP telephony packets flow through.
