i think its the webinterface
yes this is the web interface opened trought iPhone Safari Browser.
I use iPhone from September, and the view of the web interface is cool

Hi I havent had my iPhone that long and was wondering how I get the dude on to it, as it would be realy handy for monotoring my network out and about

You should be able to access The Dude by it’s IP address through your web browser, if the IP is a public one.

I have setup Dude Server on Win 2003 and works just fine. I have installed I Dude in iphone and i wanted to monitor my network on iphone. My server in local but i have port forwad on the public ip address to local ip addres which is win 2003 ip .
But on the iphone tell me to type XML URL and password.
XML URL means public ip address and password means dude password.
If you can help on this.

All they are doing is pulling up the web page of the dude.
Connect your phone to your company wifi and then browse to the server…
ok i mean when dude built to be compatibility for Apple Iphone that mean theres must be Clarify and explain how to correct installation
anyway i got it from “App Store” in my Iphone
then it’s installed

The app some basic description of its functions, I installed it on a co-workers phone. After seeing the instructions and the low rating I decided to uninstall it.
I found the app listed as it should be at the iphone store.

The Dude network monitor is a great new application by MikroTik which can successfully improve the way you manage your network environment. With iDude, you can automatically discover the network to monitor the status of your services and server. You can now connect you from anywhere on the application Dude. And then view the different states of servers and services and directly consult the MAP of your network.
You also have the ability to easily add a xml file hosted on your server, add test sites accessible directly from your iPhone.
Note the use of this application requires php to put on the server that hosts Dude. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
To configure the tests links, information pages or connection information for Dude. You need to set up the XML file in format “Apple plist” on your server.

I finally released the 2.0 version of iDude.
It’s a Full update of the program, a lot of new feature :
- Direct connection to the Web service of Mikrotik Dude, no more need PHP script.
- Easy to add and delete Dude connections directly from the application

- Added a adapted version for the iPad
