I have two mikrotik with public IPs, one of the Mikrotik has BGP setup and Vlan setting, public IP is set up on a VLAN other one has a public but without any BGP and VLAN setting. EoIP tunnel is working fine but IPIP, GRE, and IPsec tunnelling are not establishing. Just don’t get it what’s wrong with those tunnels!
None here to say something! Help me understand what’s wrong.
It would help if you post your config. Firewall rules can easily block them from establishing.
There are no firewall rules of any kind in those two mikrotiks, Public IP on VLAN can cause problem or ISP from where I take net connection can block those tunnels?
Without seeing the configs, your guess is as good as mine
Which config should I put here?
Open a command line window (using the [Terminal] button in Winbox or WebFig) and follow my automatic signature here below:
- type /export hide-sensitive file=some-name in that window (hide-sensitive causes passwords and secrets not to be shown in the export, but doesn’t hide usernames or any contents of scripts)
- download the file
- responsibly obfuscate the public IPs and other information which might help identifying you (or misusing your credentials for some service) if that bothers you
- post the result here between
and
tags in the body of the post or as an attachment to it.
