IPIP tunnel with IPSec

Hi,

i tried to configure IPIP tunnel with IPSec but is not successful. I configured the IPIP tunnel first, and i can successfully ping to the other side. Once i configured the IPSec, i am not able to ping through.

I followed the configuration at http://gregsowell.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/GregSowell-mikrotik-vpn1.pdf
using winBox.

Can anyone tell me where could be the problem? i have checked the policies and proposals at both side and ensured that they matched.

Or any of you have more detailed reference to configure a IPIP tunnel with IPSec? I am very new to mikrotik that is why i prefer winBox over command line.

Hi,

i managed to solve the problem and made it worked. I change the IPsec protocol from AH to ESP then it works. Can anyone tell me why cant i use AH for IPIP with IPSec?
