IPoE and Mikrotik?

Does Mikrotik support IPoE?

If it does how do I configure for this, my ISP allows PPPoE and IPoE but I am unsure how to do this on RouterOS.

From what I can find it involves using dhcp option 60 in the dhcp request. Is this even possible on MT?

Anyone know?

Really? no-one knows?

Maybe this is too new for the Mikrotik?
A lot of consumer home routers and cisco support it

Do you really think IPoE is something new and special? Come on! IPoE stands for IP over Ethernet- just an ordinary 30-year old way to carry IP traffic over the Ethernet? Supported by all vendors out of the box without exceptions. Do you expect someone here to explain you the basics?

No I don’t think it is anything special…

Since you seem to know all about it how how do I specify option 60 in the dhcp request to my provider(ftth)?

I’m not talking about IP on Ethernet specifically but rather the specific dhcp request type for IPoE

I currently use PPPoE to get an address but they also allow connections using IPoE

Bugger so not possible on Mikrotik then as I need to specify the vendor class (option 60) in my dhcp request to get an IP
