IPSEC over GRE (ROS 5.4) using OSPF

Has anyone got IPSEC to work over a GRE tunnel using ROS 5.4? I’m also using OSPF and the MTU’s are around 1400 to make the DSL link happy.

  1. It works perfectly using IPSec/EoIP Tunnels and OSPF.
  2. Seems to work ok without IPSec and OSPF.

IPSec/GRE is not a requirement, just an experiment.
