IPSEC Tunnel and Ping Tool

I have IPSEC tunnels built using Greg S. method. I can ping from interior to interior with computers on the Lan ports, no problem.

But, I cannot ping the LAN Gateway’s 192.168.1.1 or even a PC on the LAN ports from the MT Ping tool. They all timeout, why?

The tunnels are up, SA,s loaded, traffic is OK between subnets, ping ,file transfer, just no Ping test will work the MT Ping Tool in WinBox.

What am I overlooking?

Wild guess, but does it work when you specify a src-address option for the ping command and choose an IP address housed on the router that is covered by the IPsec policy? If the router automagically picks a source IP that isn’t covered by the policy the ICMP packet won’t be picked up by the tunnel.
