ipv6 6PE ?

hi guys,

just tried to setup 6pe:

on one side there is an cisco v6 enhanced router on the other side is an rb433 with version 5.2
in the routingtable the next hop informations are correct, but router-os is doing something wrong for v6 label advertisments?

my cisco receives one prefix bit it will be not in the routingtable installed. - error as following:

the main question is:
is 6PE already supported in 5.2 ?

thanks

chris

Currently 6PE is not supported.

hi!

thanks for responding,

means when is it supported ? (version) - or anay familiar suggestions?

thanks!

chris

hey again,

can somebody tell me if “6pe” is on the feature roadmap?

if yes, when do you think it could be possible ?

thanks!

chris

Hi,

Any news about 6PE implementation on Mikrotik?

Is this resource present in roadmap?

It seems RouterOS is recognizing IPv4-mapped, but still doesn’t resolve it as next-hop:

Also, 5.2. Holy crap update!

+1

The original poster who was on 5.2 posted that 10 years ago. Presumably they are no longer running 5.2 by now, 10 years later.

I also assume that no one else is running at 5.2. I, for example, am running 6.45.9, and even so there is no support for 6PE, as far as I know.

Fun Fact: Normis said that 6PE would be developed for the v6 beta. We are already in the v7 beta (and you know this beta took a long time to get out), and nothing.
