ipv6 communication over two bridges

Hey guys!

I have a (in my eyes) simple question regarding ipv6 communication!

Config:
My RB3011 has basicaly 2 bridges (bridge1 ipv4 192.168.1.254/24, bridge2 ipv4 172.16.1.254/24), both have dhcp active and there are no firewall restrictions. Ipv4 communication works without problems.

Problem:
On bridge1 there is a server with ipv6 activated and i have to communicate with devices over ipv6 on the other bridge. Whats the basic idea to build this? ipv6 dhcp server on both bridges? Or is there a simple task to just propagate the ipv6 neighbours to both bridges?

Any ideas?

  1. if possible - bridge the bridges.
  2. if not. route the ipv6
