If i create IPv6 some address, connect route is not created automaticly. I don’t know why? It is tested on ROS 5r8 and stable 4.13. It is tested on various RB. Which log topic use for it or what can be source of this problem, please?
Screenshot included.
If is not active connected route than i can’t add valid static route. ![]()

Hard to diagnose w/o the full IP… Im just gonna guess that the :1:1::1/64 and :1:2::2/64 are really in the same subnet? At least tell us how many bits are left of the ::
I dont have RC8 on my RB1000, but on RC7, it creates then as you would expect, even if it is in the same subnet on a different interface. But it will only show one route, with 2 possible gateway devices. Expand the gateway column in your first winbox picture…
if i am not mistaken prefix 2001:DB8::/32 is for documentation and examples.
Most probably these two addresses are from same network as i have tried adding several addresses and each had its own ADC route added correctly.
The IP addresses are in the same subnet of course. But i think that isn’t problem in advertise? I don’t use it on this RB and the opposite RB. MAC address are 00:00:00:00:00:00.
Can be problem on using L2 Switch IPv4?
