IPv6 MTU over PPPoe Interface

It seems that we are limited to 1434 bytes MTU for IPv6 over PPPoE interface.

IPv6 Fragmentation doesn’t work neither.

Is there a limitation inside Router OS ?

Same PPPoE interface with IPv4 do allow 1492 bytes MTU.

On the LAN there is no problem, fragmentation work as expected between Linux machines. I can send Ping of any size.

Could it be a provider problem ? Or a Router OS one ?

The biggest problem is fragmentation not working.

Just to confirm this is a issue - there is some problem with MTU when using IPv6 over PPPoE. Setting the MTU on my Public (facing the DSL modem) interface did in fact helped, but still the first connection usually seems to fail (I do have a IPv6 firewall though - so there could be also problem there).

This really needs to get fixed.
