Is there any way to limit the number of IPv6 addresses that can be advertised from a mac address?
The general recommendation is to offer a /64 block to each end user, however, this can create some big issues.
Recently i’ve had a case from a customer advertising around 10.000 ipv6 addresses from the same /64 subnet, therefore filling my entire ipv6 neighbour list and creating disruptions for other customers.
At the moment, i’m considering offering a /120 maximum, however i’m courious if there are some better solutions.
