IPv6 Route 'USHI' flags on RouterOS v7.11.2 CCR2116

Good afternoon,
I am encountering an abnormal issue on a CCR2116 running RouterOS V7.11.2 in relation to base IPv6 configuration. My current goal is simple; to add a peering IPv6 address and route. Confirm ping to/from gateway on IPv6.

Upon configuring the IPv6 route with a Ping gateway check it is observed immediately entering an ‘Unreachable’, ‘Hardware Offloaded’ and ‘Inactive’ state. I cannot ping to or from the site via IPv6.

If IPv6 Hw is disabled under Switch>L3 HW-Settings why am I seeing the ‘Hardware Offloaded’ flag?

Many hours of head/desk bashing later and I’m not any closer to getting this route up.

I have enabled and configured IPv6 for a good 50+ sites previously on older generations of RouterOS and never experienced an issue similar to this.

Any ideas? Did something change in the newer revisions of RouterOSv7 that I am missing? I don’t have this issue on a nearby site utilizing a CCR2004 on RouterOSv7.6.

H-flag does not indicate that route is actually HW offloaded, it indicates only that route can be selected to be HW offloaded.

Thank you for the clarification chechito!

This case is solved. The root cause for the issues experienced was due to an invalid IPv6 subnet.
