IPv6 - Two prefixes on one network

Hello,

I currently have a a 6in4 he.net tunnel with a /48 prefix for IPv6 connectivity.

I shall be given native IPv6 connectivity from my ISP soon, with a /56 via DHCPv6 PD.

On each network I use a /64 via slaac RAs. My question is - can I use both the he.net tunnel-based /64 and the native ISP-based /64 on one network segment at the same time, one using RAs, one without, while migrating devices and configurations to the new prefix?

Please let me know if this question needs clarification.

You probably could. You face, however, a much more serious problem: how are you going to route the packets to HE and your ISP? (Your ISP won’t accept IPv6 packets with a source address from your Hurricane Electric prefix and vice versa.) Unlike the IPv4 side, RouterOS doesn’t offer Policy Based Routing with IPv6 (yet).
