IPv6, VPLS, VSI, Xconnect, E-VPN e VX-Lan

With the depletion of IPv6 in the LACNIC region of one of Mikrotik’s largest markets, I would like to know if we will have more Address Family resources for MP-BGP such as RFC 7209 e-VN or RFC 4760 VX-Lan to transport IPv6 in Layer2 encapsulations for To go through the IPv4 backbone without problems.
A simpler deployment, such as enabling Pseudo Wire features, also known as: VSI, Xconnect, and L2Circuit, will solve the problem better.
Today we have VPLS to do the transport L2 with Vlan for the CE and Bridge to connect the two in the PE, however it generates many problems in production.
I would like to know Mikrotik’s positioning.
Hug.

I agree with you that it would be great to see technologies like e-VPN or VXLAN implemented in RouterOS. I’ll wait to see what MikroTik has to say but with v7 still not in beta, it might be tough to add features like that with the current workload on the dev team.

Would love to see it though.

Any updates about e-vpn for kernel v7 on mikrotik?

Don’t ask on april fool’s day!
